Who we are
At 220 meters above sea level, in the heart of Salento, in the beautiful region of Puglia,
lies Tenuta Russo, a 10-hectare estate where approximately 2000 olive trees are planted.
Founded in 2020 by Marialuisa Russo, the company has quickly become a reference point for the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
Our oil is a true symbol of the Italian lifestyle, an essential ingredient in Italian cuisine and the Mediterranean diet. The olive harvest is mainly done by hand, with the help of mechanical shakers to ensure the highest quality.
At the end of the harvest day, the olives are promptly transported to the mill, where they are processed within a few hours at a temperature never exceeding 27°C. After processing, the oil is filtered and bottled to preserve its extraordinary organoleptic properties.
Our flagship product is the monocultivar Picholine, which represents the excellence of our production and a true rarity in the olive oil world.
